Dream of Family Going To New York Art Expo 2020 - Pushed to Spring 2021

Updated: Jul 15, 2020

What an honor it is to be represented by Mona Niko gallery. I am delighted to have been invited to display with her at the Art Expo New York 2020! Due to COVID-19, This 42nd annual curated show has been moved again, now slated for April, 2021 at Pier 94, New York, NY. Did I say New York?! Hahaha! Gotta have fun with it!

On display, will be my DREAM OF FAMILY, Oil on Canvas, 30" x 30". This whimsical painting and others in the series are gallery wrapped with the painting continuing around the sides, and intended to be hung unframed.

The style, (which I call 'where Van Gogh meets Dr. Seuss'), inspired by Van Gogh, Dr. Seuss and Kim Douglas Wiggins, was immediately honored with a purchase of one of the larger pieces by the owner of a global corporation for his private collection held in the foothills overlooking Hollywood and downtown, Los Angeles, CA. From there the series was recognized and celebrated at the Laguna Art Museum, in artsy Laguna Beach, CA. More recently, the series inspired and delighted visitors of Saddleback Church and the Peace Center in Lake Forest, CA. Since then, it has been on display at my mountain top retreat in the Cleveland National Forest, where another of the series was purchased by a neighboring ranch owner inspired by the message in Cultivating The Dream. He purchased the piece for his bride in celebration of their love for one another and their commitment to cultivating that love and their vineyard.

Over the years, the series traveled throughout Southern California. Only now will it be on display on the East coast with roughly 41,000 visitors and vendors from around the world given the opportunity to see one of the series' favorite original images. More reproductions of Dream of Family have sold than any other in the series, so it is sure to captivate the attention of the attendees, publishers and vendors.
